Austin extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Foley Anderson. The Austin Maroons breezed by the Akins Eagles to the tune of 84-28 on Tuesday thanks in part to Anderson, who went 11 for 14 on her way to 24 points and seven rebounds. Those 24 points gave her a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Evelyn Young, who posted eight points in addition to ten boards and three steals. She has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played.

Austin's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-8. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.6 points per game. As for Akins, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Austin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 51-43 victory against Cornerstone Christian on the 3rd. As for Akins, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 64-26 defeat against Bowie on the 3rd.
