Aberdeen was outmatched by WF West at home and fell 41-14. Aberdeen has struggled against WF West recently, as their contest on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Aberdeen's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Aidan Watkins, who rushed for 113 yards.
Aberdeen's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for WF West, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Aberdeen will take on Shelton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Shelton is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for WF West, they will be playing at home against Centralia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Centralia will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 245th, while WF West is ranked 89th).
