Greenfield came tearing into  Tuesday's  contest with five straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Lake County Falcons with a sharp  13-3 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  15-1  last Monday.
 Will Edwards made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out 11 batters over  six innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   seven  hits (and not a single walk). The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Lake County,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-14-1.
 Looking ahead, Greenfield will square off against Dresden at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Lake County, they will take on West Carroll at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday.
