Coffee had no answer to Reya Johnson on Tuesday as she scored 12 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds. As if that's not impressive enough, the contest was her sixth in a row with two or more steals. For the year, Johnson has averaged 18.2 points, 3.6 steals, and 4.9 assists per contest.
Johnson and Statesboro will head out on the road to challenge the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Johnson hasn't had any trouble running up the score (she's averaged 18.2 per game this season), but it's looking like she'll have her work cut out for her against Swainsboro's dominant defense.
