There's no place like home for North Mac, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Central A & M Raiders on Monday as they made off with a 13-2 victory. Considering the Panthers have won eight games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Camden Earley was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Andrew Scroggins was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cade McCready, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
North Mac always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .655. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
