The Wasatch Wasps can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 64-38 margin over Spanish Fork. The win was familiar territory for Wasatch who now have three in a row.
Wasatch got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Peyton Behnke out in front who scored 19 points. Ashley Garner was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Wasatch's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Spanish Fork, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wasatch will take on Maple Mountain at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Maple Mountain focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday. As for Spanish Fork, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Timpview at 5:15 p.m. Hopefully Timpview focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday.
