They were beaten by Mount Pisgah Christian Academy 52-19. Temple Baptist Academy lost against Mount Pisgah Christian Academy in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 55-26 score last time.
Mount Pisgah Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaylynn Walls out in front who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. The match was Walls' sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kinzee Lowery, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds.
Temple Baptist Academy bumped their record down to 0-1 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Mount Pisgah Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Temple Baptist Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Clayton-Bradley Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. As for Mount Pisgah Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
