The Bald Eagle Area Eagles are on the road again  on Thursday to play the Tri-Valley Bulldogs. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 Bald Eagle Area is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Monday. They were the clear victor by  an  11-3 margin over North Star. Bald Eagle Area's win was all the more impressive since North Star was averaging only 2.65 runs allowed on the season.
  Tayten Yoder made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  struck out six batters over  6.2 innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   nine  hits (and not a single walk). Yoder has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in four consecutive pitching appearances. Yoder was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-5.
 In other batting news, Bald Eagle Area let  Gavin Burns and  Camron Watkins loose on the outfield. Burns  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances, while  Watkins  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Burns is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last four games he's  played.  Connor Perry was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Tri-Valley had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.6 runs), and they went ahead and made it nine on Monday. They never let the Rams onto the board and left with  a   14-0  victory.
 Bald Eagle Area has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 18 of their last 19 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 24-2 record  this season. As for Tri-Valley, their win bumped their record up to 21-4.
