The Claiborne Bulldogs suffered their biggest loss since December 5, 2023 on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Greeneville, falling 75-41. Claiborne was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-20.
Greeneville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maria Lyde, who scored 18 points along with three steals and two blocks. Anna Shaw was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with three steals.
Claiborne has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Greeneville, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-10.

As for Greeneville, they will play host again and welcome Volunteer, where tip off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Volunteer has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
