On the hitting side, Charlie Beauregard was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.
Lawrence Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Cushing Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.
