Kittatinny Regional made easy work of North Warren Regional last Friday and carried off a 41-7 victory. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 27-0.
Meanwhile, after a dominant win in their matchup two weeks ago, Parsippany were humbled. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-33 punch to the gut against Wallkill Valley. Parsippany's low-scoring defeat was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the matchup before.
Kittatinny Regional's victory lifted them to 3-1 while Parsippany's loss dropped them down to 2-2. In their win, Kittatinny Regional relied heavily on junior Jacob Mafaro, who picked up 83 yards on the ground and caught passes for 141 yards. Parsippany will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
