Otto-Eldred will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Wednesday, then bounced right back against Smethport on Thursday. The Terrors were the clear victors by a 20-10 margin over the Hubbers. The victory continues a trend for the Terrors in their matchups with the Hubbers: they've now won seven in a row.

Otto-Eldred got a massive performance out of Landon Francis, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave Francis a new career-high. Wyatt Blendinger also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Otto-Eldred always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .587. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Smethport only posted an OBP of .441.
Meanwhile, Oswayo Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 24-10 to Port Allegany. On the bright side, the ten- run performance marked the Green Wave's highest-scoring game to date.
Dawson Welch and Luke Karr stepped up to the plate in a big way. Welch went 2-for-5 with three RBI, one run, and one double, while Karr went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. Karr has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Drayton Norton was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
Otto-Eldred now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Oswayo Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
Oswayo Valley's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Otto-Eldred has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .435. It's a different story for Oswayo Valley, though, as they've only averaged .350. Will they be able to contain Otto-Eldred's hitters?
Otto-Eldred skirted past Oswayo Valley 2-1 in their previous meeting on April 7th. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Terrors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
