The biggest upset of the week belonged to Perry, who took down 42nd ranked Le Roy, 44-36. Cory Dillon threw for 310 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 83 yards in the win.
The Yellowjackets moved up to 78 from 187 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Section 5 Livingston II. A 44-36 win over the Knights helped Perry improve its standing.
Peter Privitera was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 150 yards on 18 carries as Le Roy beat Le Roy. Marcus Mistersaro also contributed to the rushing game with 41 yards on the ground.
Ricotta was the best wideout in the league this week as the Yellowjackets defeated Brian Moran's team. Ricotta tallied seven receptions for 123 yards. Jake Kiehle helped Perry's passing attack out by catching 11 balls for 92 yards.
Perry's Dillon and Kiehle have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Section 5 Livingston II in both passing and receiving yards. Dillon has thrown for 1243 yards this season, while Kiehle, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 27 catches for 431 yards. Privitera from the Knights leads the league in rushing with 601 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Yellowjackets take on Caledonia-Mumford. Perry is in first place, while the Raiders are in third place.
