Leggett's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Tamera Henderson, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten steals, and Bianca Perkins who scored 25 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Perkins scored a full 47.2% of Leggett's points, the 12th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Madyson Burr, who scored two points along with eight rebounds.
Leggett has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season. As for Hull-Daisetta, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Leggett will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off.
