Lone Pine had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They took a 6-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kings Christian. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Lone Pine was outplayed in the second half. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Lone Pine off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Kings Christian a 1-0 record.
Next week, Lone Pine take on Calvary Baptist at Damien at 7:00 PM. As for Kings Christian, they will face of against Anzar.
