Basketball Recap: Depaul College Prep Skates Past Taft with Ease

A well-balanced attack led DePaul College Prep over Taft in every quarter on their way to victory on Saturday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the DePaul College Prep Rams blew the Taft Eagles out of the water with a 61-29 final score. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 23 points or more this season.

DePaul College Prep was led to victory by Grace Lee and Kaitlin Totaro. Lee almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine boards, while Totaro went 6 of 10 on her way to 16 points and three steals. Totaro has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last four times she's played. Ava Giordano was another key player, putting up eight points.

DePaul College Prep smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 11 consecutive games.
