On Friday, The King Wolves got themselves on the board against the Temecula Valley Golden Bears, but the Temecula Valley Golden Bears never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Golden Bears 30-0 on the road. The result was nothing new for King, who have now won five games by 20 points or more so far this season.
King was led to victory by Blake Bowen and Joshua Harper. Bowen picked up 116 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Harper threw for 206 yards and four touchdowns on only 17 passes. Sam Green did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 83 receiving yards and a touchdown.
King is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Temecula Valley, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. King will square off against Murrieta Mesa at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Murrieta Mesa is ranked 176th, while King is ranked 183rd). As for Temecula Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Great Oak at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Great Oak will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
