Chiefland is 8-2 against Bell since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Chiefland Indians will head out to challenge the Bell Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Bell is hoping to do what Dixie County couldn't back in December of 2024: put an end to Chiefland's winning streak, which now stands at six games. Chiefland claimed a resounding 67-32 victory over Dixie County. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 22 points or more this season.

Chiefland got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brianna Bell out in front who posted 15 points and seven steals. Bell has been hot for a while, having posted three or more steals the last 36 times she's played. Nyasia Bivins was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 16 points and nine boards.
Meanwhile, after only 23 points in their last game, Bell made sure to put some points up on the board against Hamilton County on Friday. Bell took their match with ease, bagging a 59-32 victory over Hamilton County. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Bulldogs just coasted through the last quarter.
Chiefland better keep an eye on Maddie Smith. She was instrumental in Bell's win, dropping a double-double on 25 points and ten steals. With that strong performance, Smith is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Another player making a difference was Dacy Graham, who posted six points in addition to 12 rebounds and six steals.
Bell smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 34 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in ten consecutive contests.
Chiefland's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1. As for Bell, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Chiefland has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 28.8 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Bell struggles in that department as they've been averaging 38.5 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Chiefland took their win against Bell in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 53-31. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chiefland since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
