The Kathleen Red Devils stacked a 13th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Boca Ciega 86-17 at home. Kathleen's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Kathleen's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dariasia Pitts, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pitts has scored all season. Kayden Gause was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with seven steals.
Kathleen pushed their record up to 15-6 with that win, which was their ninth straight at home. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 38.78 points. As for Boca Ciega, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.
Kathleen will be playing in front of their home fans against Tenoroc at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tenoroc comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Boca Ciega, they will head out on the road to square off against Clearwater Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
