Kendrick was even better at the plate,  scoring four  runs while  getting on base  in three of her five plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Makenna Descalzi, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sara Harris, who  went 1-for-3 with a  triple, a  stolen base,  and  an  RBI.
 Dothan has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won five of their last six matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-7-2 record  this season. As for Ashford, their loss was  their fourth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 3-12.
