The Ocala Christian Crusaders scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They walked away with a 64-54 victory over Citrus. That's another feather in the cap for Ocala Christian, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Ocala Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Charlotte Culver, who scored 26 points along with two steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which Culver has scored at least a third of Ocala Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Brianna Ray, who scored 14 points.
Ocala Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Citrus, their defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ocala Christian will take on Bronson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bronson comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Citrus, they will be playing at home against Hernando at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
