Churchill County found their leader in underclassman Jada Anastasio, who scored 13 points along with three steals. The matchup was Anastasio's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Vernita Fillmore was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Churchill County is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Pinecrest Academy Cadence, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
