Section 2 B - Reinfurt recap Sept. 26, 2012
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Hudson, who took down 529th ranked Green Tech, 30-14. Winston Lee ran for 123 yards in the win.
Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk extended the longest winning streak in Section 2 B - Reinfurt this week by beating Albany Academy for Boys, 20-7. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Indians.
Darian Blanks was the best wideout in the league this week as the Blue Hawks defeated Green Tech. Blanks racked up two receptions for 60 yards. Everton Higgins helped Hudson's passing attack out by catching two balls for 29 yards.
6-foot-2 quarterback Conner Zeoli of Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk is the league leader in passing yards this season with 164. He has also thrown two touchdowns. On the ground, Hudson's Lee has rushed for 224 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Malacchai Wilburn. The Hudson star has eight catches for 91 yards.
A big matchup in Section 2 B - Reinfurt this week will be when Bob Lacasse's team takes on Lansingburgh. As it stands, the Blue Hawks are in fourth, while the Knights are in second.
Lansingburgh moved up to 174 from 225 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Al Mcnall's team was able to make the jump by beating Crane 46-13.
