After losing to Wilson Area the last time they met, Pen Argyl decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Green Knights never let the Warriors get on the board and left with a 17-0 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Green Knights, who have now won seven contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Madacyn Rivera was a standout: she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four runs and two stolen bases. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ella Garcia, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

Pen Argyl always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wilson Area only posted an OBP of .062.

Pen Argyl's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Wilson Area, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-8.

Coming up, Wilson Area will head out to square off against Bangor at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Pen Argyl will be paying especially close attention to the Warriors' matchup: after the Warriors face off against the Slaters, they'll take on Pen Argyl again at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
