The Beaufort Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took down North Charleston 52-34. That 18 point margin sets a new team best for Beaufort this season.
Beaufort found their leader in underclassman Carson Crosby, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 15 rebounds. It was the first time this season that Crosby scored 15 or more points. Davariyah Smith was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 13 rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Beaufort and bumps their season record up to 7-13. As for North Charleston, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.
Beaufort will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. Hanahan is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. North Charleston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
