Even though they lost, Garden Valley's still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 52.3 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
When it comes to explaining why Garden Valley lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kadence Jacobs. Despite the final result, she scored 24 points along with 6 assists and 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Aubree Zimmer, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Garden Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Tri-Valley, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Garden Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Horseshoe Bend at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Tri-Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Council at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
