Oriskany looks to establish their home field advantage on Saturday as they take on Cooperstown at Whitesboro High School at 6:30 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close matchup.
Oriskany were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap last Friday, as they fell 18-22 to South Lewis.
Meanwhile, while not quite a landslide, the match between Cooperstown and New York Mills was still a pretty decisive one as Cooperstown wrapped it up with a 38-20 win.
Cooperstown's victory lifted them to 1-1 while Oriskany's loss dropped them down to 1-1. We'll see if Cooperstown's success rolls on or if Oriskany are able to steal their positive momentum.
