Julissa Estrada made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. Those ten strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that she has brought in this season.
In other batting news, Sahuaro got a massive performance out of Julyssa Canfield, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with four stolen bases and three runs. Those three runs gave Canfield a new career-high. Sahuaro hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Amphitheater struck out ten times.
