Pentucket Regional will head out to take on the Greater Lowell Tech Gryphons at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Pentucket Regional had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Whittier RVT on Thursday. Pentucket Regional blew past Whittier RVT 11-1. Pentucket Regional's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Greater Lowell Tech, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Greater Lawrence Tech with a sharp 15-1 victory on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Gryphons, who have now won three matches by six runs or more so far this season.
The win (which was Pentucket Regional's third in a row) raised their record to 4-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Greater Lowell Tech, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Pentucket Regional suffered a grim 10-3 defeat to Greater Lowell Tech in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can Pentucket Regional avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
