St. John Bosco Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past War Hill Christian Academy, posting a 75-41 victory at home. Considering St. John Bosco Academy has won four games by more than 22 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Several Warriors players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Parker Rawlings, who scored eight points along with four steals. Rawlings has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Aaron Stewart, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
St. John Bosco Academy's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for War Hill Christian Academy, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. John Bosco Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lyndon Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 8, 2024. As for War Hill Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Grace Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Grace Christian Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than War Hill Christian Academy in Georgia (Grace Christian Academy is ranked 69th, while War Hill Christian Academy is ranked 266th).
