Lincoln High has not had much luck with Lincoln Northeast recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Lincoln High saw an underclassman step up: Brady Nick scored 18 points. Nick scored a full 32.1% of Lincoln High's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Jairik Gilmore, who scored a points along with six blocks.
Eli Ash was the offensive standout of the matchup as he scored ten points along with nine rebounds. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for him. Mowafag A abdalla was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds.
Lincoln High's loss was their sixth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-9. As for Lincoln Northeast, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

As for Lincoln Northeast, they will be playing at home against Millard North at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday. Millard North has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 228 points over their last three matches.
