Meanwhile, while Christian Academy of Knoxville put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for William Blount. Christian Academy of Knoxville came out on top in a nail-biter against William Blount, sneaking past 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.
Ella Borbeck made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 16 over seven innings pitched. Borbeck was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two doubles.
In other batting news, Emily Bogoski was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
