Princeton/Mercer ended up on the wrong side of a painful 14-40 walloping at Mid-Buchanan hands. The loss was a vexing one since Princeton/Mercer was expected to win based on their state ranking. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Princeton/Mercer off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Mid-Buchanan a 2-0 record.
