Football Recap: Parrish Community Victorious + How To Watch

Parrish Community proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 40) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They slipped by the Palm Harbor University Hurricanes 15-14. The Bulls' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Parrish Community got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brycen Volz out in front who threw for 178 yards while completing 75.9% of his passes, and also punched in one TD on the ground. Those 178 passing yards gave Volz a new career-high. Parrish Community also got a significant boost from Jacoby Thomas, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 95 yards.

Parrish Community didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Alex Eldredge.

Parrish Community's record is now 3-0. As for Palm Harbor University, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parrish Community will face off against Palmetto at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Bulls their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Palm Harbor University, they will take on St. Petersburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
