Fayette Academy got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They breezed by the Carroll Academy Jaguars to the tune of 66-10 on Monday. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 21 points or more this season.

Leading Fayette Academy to victory were Clay Anderson and Casey Roy. Anderson posted eight points and four steals, while Roy put up seven points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Roy a new career-high in assists (three). Kahne Dozier was another key player, putting up six points.

Fayette Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The victory snapped Fayette Academy's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 14-8 record. As for Carroll Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
