Parsons scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They were beaten by the Neodesha Blue Streaks 70-39. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 277th, while the Blue Streaks are ranked 50th).

Parsons' loss dropped their record down to 0-7-1. As for Neodesha, they pushed their record up to 8-0-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

When Parsons and Neodesha next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Parsons will try to stop Southeast's three-game winning streak when the meet at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Neodesha will challenge Cherryvale and their three-game winning streak on January 28th.
