Narraguagus has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Wednesday. They will face off against the Calais Blue Devils at 6:30 p.m. Calais took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Narraguagus, who comes in off a win.
Last Monday, Narraguagus made easy work of Jonesport-Beals and carried off a 62-37 victory.
Meanwhile, Calais' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by Mattanawcook 57-19.
Brenna Critchley put forth a good effort for the losing side as she scored six points.
The victory got Narraguagus back to even at 1-1. As for Calais, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Things could have been worse for Narraguagus, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 58-42 loss to Calais when the teams last played back in January. Can Narraguagus avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
