Lindsay extended the longest winning streak in East Sequoia this week by beating Corcoran, 24-7. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Woodlake took down Sierra Pacific 50-27 last week, the largest margin of any game. Eric Schwartz threw for 128 yards and 4 touchdowns in the win.
He went 7-13 with 0 interceptions.
John Kulick was the best running back in the league this week. In 19 carries, he ran for 100 yards as the Tigers topped the Panthers. Augustin Rogdriguez also contributed to the rushing game with 26 yards on the ground.
Jesse Lira's team's Alex Jara and Mann have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Jara has thrown for 2,165 yards this season, while Mann has 57 catches for 1,028 yards. Woodlake's Elijah Cunningham leads the league in rushing yards with 1,184.
One of East Sequoia's premier quarterbacks will face off with its top pass rusher when the Cardinals and Strathmore face off next week.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Lindsay takes on the Spartans. The Cardinals are currently in first, while Strathmore is in third.
The league will see a high scoring game when Lindsay and jeromy Blackwell's team face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Cardinals comes in having scored 339 this season, while the Spartans have scored 264. Lindsay scored 24 points last week as it beat Corcoran.
