Pike Road extended their postseason success on Saturday against Wetumpka. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Indians a 7-0 shutout. Considering the Patriots have won 13 matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Diego Pacheco was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Coleman Stabler, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for Pike Road and bumps their season record up to 27-8. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Wetumpka, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-12-1 record this season.

Pike Road will challenge Chelsea at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wetumpka does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
