Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, Scott should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They take on Austin-East at 7:30 PM. Austin-East will be strutting in after a win while Scott will be stumbling in from a loss.
Scott suffered a grim 22-48 defeat to Karns last Friday. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Scott.
Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout in their game three weeks ago against Fulton, Austin-East were happy to find some success. Austin-East were the clear victor by a 30-9 margin over Halls.
Scott found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-26 punch to the gut against Austin-East the last time the two teams met. Can Scott avenge their defeat, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
