Sunrise Christian Academy took down Fredonia 40-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Zach HOWELL threw for 414 yards and four touchdowns in the win.
Christ Prep Academy made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 13,578 from 13,962. The improvement was the result of 56-32 victory over the Patriots last week.
Timothy Finley was the most productive running back in Midwest Christian this week. In 12 carries, he ran for 69 yards as Christ Prep Academy bested the Yellowjackets. Teammate Will Cook added to the ground attack by rushing for 19 yards.
BERDAN was the best wideout in the league this week as Sunrise Christian Academy beat Fredonia. BERDAN racked up six receptions for 119 yards. Michael LEE helped Sunrise Christian Academy's passing attack out by catching six balls for 100 yards.
Logan White made the biggest impact on defense this week as Jim Cook's team fell to Rock Creek. The 5-foot-10 senior forced one fumble.
Trey Hall's team's HOWELL and Seth YOUNG have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. HOWELL has thrown for 1822 yards this season, while YOUNG, a 5-foot-8 receiver, has 50 catches for 491 yards. The Patriots' Josiah Thill leads the league in rushing yards with 325.
Entering into this week's contest against Community Christian, HOWELL is short just 178 passing yards to break 2,000 on the season.
