There's no place like home for Rio, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Faith Christian Eagles by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won six in a row.

Rio easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-20.

Alyssa Schmitt paced Rio's offense, picking up ten kills. Schmitt got some help from Riley Kennedy and her 15 assists. Charlotte Ferguson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Rio's win bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Faith Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Coincidentally, Rio and Faith Christian will both be playing Abundant Life the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Challengers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Vikings will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
