Handley is 0-10 against Millbrook since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Handley Judges will head out on the road to face off against the Millbrook Pioneers at 6:00 p.m. Handley is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
Handley has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 33 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 82-28 victory over Liberty on the road. That looming 82-28 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Handley yet this season.
Meanwhile, Millbrook waltzed into their game Monday with two straight wins but they left with three. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 61-22 victory over James Wood.
Jaliah Jackson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Millbrook's points. Another player making a difference was Valentina Burrill, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Handley's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Millbrook, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
Handley was taken down by Millbrook 76-42 when the teams last played back in January. Can Handley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
