On Wednesday, West Forsyth got the win against East Forsyth by a conclusive 3-0.
One reason for the win was West Forsyth's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-19, 25-16.

Anna Hege was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 12 digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last seven contests.
Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Myers Park rose to the challenge on Saturday. They came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 3-1.
The final score came out to 25-16, 23-25, 26-24, 25-16.
West Forsyth better keep an eye on Barrett Lacouture. She was instrumental in Myers Park's win, getting 15 assists and 11 digs. Lacouture is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Vivian Wilson also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.
Myers Park was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in eight consecutive matches.
West Forsyth's win bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Myers Park, their victory bumped their record up to 15-8.
