It was a good run, but the Ridgeview Wolf Pack unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 65-45 walloping at the hands of Frontier. While losing is never fun, Ridgeview can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 486th, while Frontier is ranked 217th).
Frontier's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zach Garnett, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Beltran, who scored ten points along with five assists.
Ridgeview's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Frontier, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridgeview will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Bakersfield Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 12th. Bakersfield Christian is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Frontier, they will head out on the road to square off against Garces Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
