It was a good run, but Flora unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell to the Shelbyville Rams 48-43. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 451st, while the Rams are ranked 140th).

Jackson Jokisch continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Shelbyville, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 18 boards. Jokisch's afternoon made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Myles Hammond, who posted ten points.

Flora's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Shelbyville, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.

Flora wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 62-43 loss against Vandalia on the 27th. As for Shelbyville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 69-48 win against Cumberland on the 27th.
