After each having a week off, the Jupiter Christian Eagles and the Tradition Prep Pirates will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Jupiter Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Tradition Prep likes a good challenge.
Last Friday, Jupiter Christian made easy work of Master's Academy and carried off a 42-20 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won three contests by 20 points or more so far this season.

Jupiter Christian relied on the efforts of Dorian Fauntleroy, who rushed for 53 yards and one score on only six carries, and Randolph Jr Wilkerson, who rushed for 125 yards and a pair of TDs. Jr Wilkerson is also crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least two every time he's taken the field this season. Cayden Alula did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 126 receiving yards.
Jupiter Christian didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Master's Academy to a completion percentage of just 21.7%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from two players: Quintin White Jr and Travis King, who each logged two passes deflected. Jupiter Christian has been improving in that area: they had allowed a completion percentage of 0.63 earlier this season, but they've only allowed one of 0.63 in their last three games.
Jupiter Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. White Jr led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself.
Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Tradition Prep ultimately got the result they hoped for last Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 14-12 win over Legacy. The score was all tied up 6-6 at the break, but the Pirates were the better team in the second half.
Tradition Prep's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Jupiter Christian, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
Everything came up roses for Jupiter Christian against Tradition Prep when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as the team secured a 46-6 victory. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Pirates have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
