Meanwhile, McBee fought the good fight in their overtime game against Lewisville on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Lions by a score of 57-54. McBee's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
McBee's loss came about despite a quality game from Tyrek Wright, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jakari Holloman, who scored 15 points along with three steals.
C.A. Johnson has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season. As for McBee, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
