Le Roy has gone 4-0 against Royalton-Hartland recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Jean Agosto continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 28 points and nine boards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 17.2 points per game. Another player making a difference was Jake Higgins, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 boards.
Le Roy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Royalton-Hartland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 64-55 to Medina. Even though they lost, the Rams' still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 50.2 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
Le Roy will need focus on slowing down Dan Aquilina, one of several Royalton-Hartland players who made an impact when they last played. He dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards. Aquilina's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Braden Ricker, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 boards.
Le Roy now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Royalton-Hartland, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Le Roy has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 36.6 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Royalton-Hartland struggles in that department as they've been averaging 36 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
