Woodford County has gone 6-1 against East Jessamine recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Woodford County's speedy runners might be the difference in Thursday's matchup. The Yellowjackets have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.1 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for East Jessamine, though, as they've been averaging only 1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Woodford County continue to outrun the ball?
Woodford County came out on top in a nail-biter against East Jessamine when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 6-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellowjackets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
